Last week when I was at Restoration Hardware purchasing this for our front door, this caught my eye:
It seemed so unlike restoration hardware. I was in love! but at $595 it is a bit out of my price range. So imagine my excitement when I spotted these at the flea market on Sunday! They are actual route signs from trolley and double decker buses in the UK from 1950-1970.
they are $350-$400 and they are the real deal and huge! The material is thick enough (printed linen or calico) that you could do without the frame. The dealer also gave me his business card and he has a shop on esty that sells some other versions.
I had to have a photo with them, I think my denim military inspired vest fit in very well...
and if that is still too expensive go here. They are smaller but you can still achieve the look.
