I am the furthest thing from a cook, but this recipe is super easy, so healthy and so tasty.
Here is what you will need:
- one spaghetti squash
- 1/2 an onion (or more if you would like)
- two zucchini
- garlic
- olive oil
- one jar of marinara sauce (or if your over ambituous you can make your own)
- mozerella cheese
the steps: (follow the pictures)
1. roast the squash in the oven at 350 for about an hour, then using a fork scrape out the insides (it's amazing how easy this part is.)
2. grate the zucchini, cut the onion and along with the garlic and a touch of olive oil heat in a pan
3. add in the spaghetti squash
4. add in the jar of marinara sauce, along with some oregano, basil, salt and pepper.
5. stir
6. with the squash and the zucchini the contents can get a little watery, so place contents in a collander and allow for some excess water to drain
7. place contents of the pan into a baking dish (i'm a huge fan of individual baking dishes) and add some shredded mozerella cheese, bake for about 20 min (with a couple minutes with the broiler on to brown the cheese)
8. serve
9. enjoy
Simple right? I'm sure there are many variations of this recipe out there, and I'm sure that this is a pretty simple version, but trust me it's tasty.
